Baan Plato Buffet
If you love mackerel, this restaurant is not to be missed because it offers a mackerel buffet.
The food has straightforward and bold flavors. Their mackerels are fresh and have a firm texture.
This restaurant doesn’t have air conditioning, but a constant cool breeze keeps it comfortable.
Recommended menu
Fresh Mackerel
The fish has a firm texture and pleasant aroma.
Stir-fried Mackerel Liver with Basil
The livers are creamy. The dish also contains innards that are chewy, resembling a chicken gizzard. The taste is a blend of salty, sweet, and moderately spicy.
Seablite Salad with Mackerel
Seablite is fresh and crispy and has no rank smell. The dish has a sweet and spicy flavor with a hint of chili paste aroma. But it has only a few pieces of mackerel.
Fried Mackerel Cake
Deliciously soft, slightly salty, mildly spicy, with a delightful curry aroma.
But their rice menus are large, 1 rice dish is more than enough for two people. The mackerel omelet is also big. Take this into account before placing your order.

Wat Khao Yi San
Wat Khao Yi San is a peaceful temple on top of a small hill (but it is the tallest hill in that area) in Samut Songkhram.
It is believed to have been constructed during the late Ayutthaya period, but the founder and the exact date of construction are unknown.
We arrived at the temple at 15:30 hrs. It was quiet, had a hint of mystery in the atmosphere, and the light was just beautiful. We strongly recommend visiting this place.
Location
The Red Bridge (Dolphin Watching Area)
The Red Bridge is a popular 700-meter-long scenic viewpoint in Samut Sakhon. From November to January, visitors could observe dolphins in their natural habitat in this area.
Even though the chance to see dolphins is so slim in the present day, you can see and feed a large group of seagulls around January to early February.
If you’re not into animals, you can come here for the beautiful sunset over the bamboo dam.
